Reviews

Tracy Charles from Canada, who is traveling around the world on a BMW and read the book in Columbia says WOW!!!! I love books on every genre, and you have managed to combine adv(enture) riding, history, romance and even some gang related violence into this story! Very easy read! I could relate to every character! Bravo my friend!!!

Greg Holmes from New Zealand, who is riding around the world on a 1000cc African Twin, and has made it to the tip of South America so far says: I finished the book. I couldn't put it down once I started. It was well written with a great storyline...

Chuck Sheridan from San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, a Christian pastor who rides a Harley Davidson writes: My usual reading is not fiction. Most stories fail to keep my attention. Usually I read biographies or research reading for my studies. But this book has kept my attention. The story starts with a short introduction and gets going. It is steady action, and continuously fills in the story and doesn’t leave you guessing. The characters are very real. The details the author writes in paint an excellent word picture for the reader. I am enjoying rereading the story.

Leslie Zak from Manitou Springs: I hated for the adventure to end! I read it in one sitting (forgot to eat). This book has it all!! Adventure! Romance! History! Interesting characters! Good guys bad guys . I had so much fun reading it. So much diversity. Author has knowledge on many topics: Motorcycles, Vietnam, gambling, fishing, camping, and more. Characters and plots very believable and endearing. Can't say enough except I can't wait for the next adventure. Thanks

Richelle Jean from Colorado Springs: This book was recommended to me or I may not have read it as Vietnam was not of any real interest to me. Boy, am I glad I read it. Yes, Vietnam is the beginning chapter where Sam, U.S. Army, saves the life of Nick a U.S. sailor. The friendship picks up a few years later when they travel the motorcycle racing scene in California. Both of these events become important many years later. Nick and his dog Deacon (who rides a special platform on the front of the motorcycle) are heading into Idaho to check in with Sam who currently owns a diner in a small town. Both are in their seventies living the life they want, Nick traveling the Americas by motorcycle and Sam working short hours then fishing every day.

Walter: A young Amerasian woman is on the run from a man who lost cartel money to her while gambling at a casino. She comes looking for Sam whom she thinks is her grandfather. Our bad guys nearly get her but Nick whisks her away on a friend's motorcycle. The adventure begins and it is exciting. While Nick is keeping Wendy safe dodging the bad guys he is too old for a direct fight so he has to be smarter. Sam leaves for Wendy's home in California to find her grandmother who he thought died in a bombing but he never stopped loving. Does he find her? If so will she still love him? How are Nick and Wendy doing staying ahead of the bad guys? You have to read this book to find out and the story is worth it. This is a fast paced exciting read with touching scenes that military and civilian readers alike will enjoy. Buy it!

It's expensive, because of size and color, but Amazon is discounting it at the moment. FYI, my royalty is only $5. It weighs 2-lbs so I do not advise getting the paperback. it damages too easy, so go for the hardcover. (from experience with the other books I published.) Thank you for your support.

New - Hardcopy Slide Rule Instruction Reprints from the ISRM Library

This was a giant preservation project! If you have downloaded any of the manuals in the ISRM Library, you were probably dissapointed in the quality of the digital scans. Many years have gone by since then, and much of the paper ephemera has deteriorated. With an enourmous amount of work, all the manuals have been rescanned, aligned and processed to the point that they resemble the original documents printed by the manufacturer. These scans are now in the reprints available through Amazon. Every one of the 540-550 page Volumes contain most of the popular models from each of the brands, or by country or language are available in paperback ($19.95) or hardcover ($27.95) on Amazon, which will print to order in 7 countries.
